Vegetables are essential in our diet . Therefore, for the least fans of them, the best way to consume them without really looking like torture is in the form of creams or purees. Give priority to all those that you like and put those you do not like so much, but they provide benefits, in lesser amounts. If you wish, you can make this delicious cream of potatoes to achieve an optimal result.
Ingredients
- 250g of potatoes
- 100g of leeks
- 125g of onion
- 50g of carrots
- 250c.c. of chicken
- Olive oil c / n
- Salt and ground black pepper c / n
Elaboration step by step
- If you want to make a delicious potato cream , start by washing all the vegetables so there are no traces of dirt or other residues.
- Peel and chop all the vegetables separately and remove the first layers of the leek to use only the white part, that is, the closest to the roots.
- Put a little oil in the pan and bring it to the fire. When hot, sauté the leek and onion .
- When the onion is transparent, add the carrot.
- When it begins to pocharse, incorporates the potatoes in small pieces. Add the salt and the ground black pepper to taste.
- A couple of minutes later, add the broth and place the lid. Continue to simmer for about 30-60 minutes.
- Before you put out the fire, see if the potato has softened.
- If so, remove from the heat and crush the vegetables in the blender until a texture is formed without homogeneous and without lumps.
- Serve the hot potato cream in bowls and decorate with parsley
If you wish you can add some portions of cheese to spread at the time of beating all the ingredients to get a much creamier texture and an exquisite flavor.
