This is the recipe for juicy meatballs that my grandmother taught me and that I have eaten many times, since my mother used to make them too. However, I tried to perfect it and provide it so you can do it too. Therefore, if you still do not know how to prepare homemade meatballs , here you will find the solution. The good thing about this recipe is that you can make it in many ways and accompany them with the sauces you want.
Ingredients
- 500g of minced beef
- 500g of minced pork
- 100 ml of milk
- 1 egg
- 1 slice of mold bread without crust
- 1/2 caramelized chopped onion
- Garlic and parsley
- Salt and ground black pepper
Elaboration step by step
1. To make juicy meatballs , the first thing you should do is put the slice of bread without crust to soak in warm milk.
2. Now place the minced beef in a bowl with the minced pork and add salt and black pepper to taste.
3. Add a good dose of chopped fresh parsley and chop one or two peeled garlic cloves, or add garlic powder.
4. Add the egg, the caramelized onion and the crumb with the milk. Start mixing everything with your hands until all the ingredients have been integrated and cover with plastic or transparent paper. Carry the refrigerator for at least two hours
5. Once this period of time has passed, take pieces of dough the size of a walnut and with the help of your palms give the round shape the meatballs of veal and pork .
6. Place plenty of oil in a pan and bring to the fire. When hot, make the meatballs and cook them on one side and the other for a few minutes until they are well browned on the outside and well known on the inside.
7. When ready, remove the juicy meatballs with a slotted spoon and drain on a plate with kitchen napkins. Accompany with the sauce that you want.
